This breezy elastic waist skirt features a lovely quilt top in a 'Duck and Ducklings' pattern. It was meticulously pieced with an array of indigo, calico, and shirting fabrics.. The skirt has inseam side pockets, and has been left unlined (please note that the original stitching can be seen on the inside) and find it to be more appropriate for warm weather wear. As this is made from an antique quilt top that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it show it's age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics - the fabrics present in the skirt are in great condition, with some faded discolored areas throughout; this piece has been soaked and dried in the sun, and I imagine they will continue to fade over time and further exposure to the sun. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to its past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips.
