This sleeveless top features an antique quilt in a classic “hexie” pattern with so many stunning fabrics! It has been lined in cotton muslin so there are no exposed seams or threads on the inside. This style has a scooped neckline in both the front and back - either neckline can be worn in the front so it is essentially two tops in one! It is perfect to wear on its own, over a dress or layered over a long sleeve as a vest in the cooler months.
As this piece is made from a vintage textile that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it show its age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to its past life. I do my best to capture such areas accurately in photographs, but there is always the chance something could be missed - I am only human after all!
