The Shaftsbury Shirt is our take on a classic “camp shirt”, its name being a nod to Lake Shaftsbury, in the town of Shaftsbury, Vermont, where I spent countless days during the summer as a kid splashing around, hiking, exploring, playing field games, building sand castles, and frequenting the snack shack, of course. Want to hear about my summer camp adventures? Well, that’s a story for another day.
This short sleeved (but not too short to cuff, if that’s your jam) shirt features a vintage floral tablecloth that is 100% cotton. It has a vintage three button closure, with an open collar, boxy fit, and slightly curved back hem that's 2" longer.
As this is made from a vintage tablecloth that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it shows its age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics - this tablecloth in particular is in very good condition aside from a two small spots photographed near the lower left back hem. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to its past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips.
