This 5 Panel Hat features a deadstock vintage blanket purchased from a woman-owned business in Ukraine. It is soft and cozy, and has a pattern reminiscent of the mid to southwestern US (with strong Pendleton vibes!) These hats feature a traditional plastic brim insert (that can be shaped if desired), sweatband inside, antique brass hardware, and an adjustable leather strap in the back. This is the LARGER size - the body of the hat measures approximately 21.25" in circumference, not including the leather strap. It is approximately 7.5" from side edge to top of the crown (depth measurement). This comfortably fits my husband with a 24" head, and is flexible in either direction due to adjustability.
As this was constructed from a vintage textile that has lived a full life before becoming a hat, it is possible it shows its history in the form of minor discolorations, and/or wear, these are not viewed as flaws but as characteristics of it's past - sold AS IS.
