The Cocoon Coat is a straight-cut style with a shawl collar, exaggerated drop shoulder, a slight dolman curve to the underarm and wide sleeve, complete with inseam side pockets. This coat features a vintage 100% wool blanket that is supremely cozy.
This blanket is in good vintage condition with some surface pilling/shaggy appearance - have depilled lightly but love the texture it lends so chose to leave it mostly as is, but you can of course do more depilling if that is your preference. Any areas that show wear are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing it's history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
Measurements (taken flat across) - due to the oversized fit, this can accommodate a range of sizes - it is best to measure a coat you already own:
Chest (open style so very flexible): 24"
Sleeve (from top of the shoulder against the neck to sleeve opening - these look great cuffed!): 27.5"
Length (from shoulder to hem): 30"
