This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage wool blanket sourced from Ukraine in a stunning turquoise! The front plackets and inner collar are pieced from a cozy flannel plaid sample fabric from our friends at Toad&Co, with the outer edges and pockets bound in an equally cozy herringbone flannel.
This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and lined rounded patch front pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
As this garment is made from antique/vintage textiles, It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27.5" waist, 37.5" hips.
