This lightweight quilt was hand-pieced and quilted, with a thin flannel sheet used as the batting layer (folks used whatever they had available!) in a classic Triangle pattern. There are so many stunning fabrics throughout, with a beautiful blue border, that was utilized for the collar. The quilt's backing is a ditsy blue botanical fabric that isn't to be overlooked! The outer bound edges feature a rich blue and white cotton reproduction fabric, and the piece is finished with rounded handwarmer style pockets.
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
