The Sunburst Chore Coat features a medium weight 100% cotton quilt that is both hand-pieced and hand quilted. This quilt features hand pieced sunburst quilt blocks set against a creamy yellow background fabric and coral fabric grid, punctuated with smaller sunburst blocks between the grid. It is lined in a rich burgundy cotton fabric. The Chore Coat features a straight, boxy silhouette and two inseam side pockets constructed out of a handwoven coverlet.
This quilt is in fair to good vintage condition with some fabric thinning and fading, along with a couple small repairs made and some batting exposed in a couple places. These are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing it's history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
Measurements (taken flat across) - due to the slightly oversized fit, this can accommodate a range of sizes - it is best to measure a coat you already own:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 24"
Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 29"
Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 19"
Arm length (against the collar to sleeve opening): 28"
