The 'Solomon's Temple' Chore Coat features a lightweight 100% cotton quilt that is both hand-pieced and hand quilted (at 8spi, or stitches per inch). It features rich indigo fabrics and is still quite crisp - indicating that the original quilt was very lightly used. Unfortunately, the quilt had several large stains that could not be removed, as well as a large bleach stain and a sizable hole in the middle, or else it would have remained intact. The Chore Coat features a straight, boxy silhouette, two large patch pockets, and antique brass snap closures.
This quilt is is overall excellent condition aside from what appears to be a small nail polish stain near the bottom hem, and a couple light discolorations as pictured. There is also one small repair on the snap placket, also pictured. These are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing it's history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
Measurements (taken flat across) - due to the slightly oversized fit, this can accommodate a range of sizes - it is best to measure a coat you already own:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 23"
Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 27.5"
Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 18"
Bicep width: 7.5" flat across
