This Flora Jacket is made from a medium weight quilt that is hand pieced and quilted in a Rocky Road to Kansas pattern, with lots of feedsack fabrics incorporated throughout. The edges are bound in a cream background and blue floral cotton fabric, along with the inner collar and front packets.
This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
