This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from Ukraine, in a warm ochre with a contrast floral pattern - please note that this blanket is a medium to heavier weight. The front plackets feature a printed cotton ribbon that was found at a local estate sale; it was an incredible find and a perfect pairing for this beautiful jacket! The inner collar and bound edges are a cotton plaid sample fabric from our friends at Toad&Co.
This style jacket features a rounded side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. There are a few circular/dot stains as photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27.5" waist, 37.5" hips.

Arm length (against the collar to sleeve opening): 28"
