This Flora Jacket is made from a midweight quilt that is hand-pieced and quilted in an Ocean Waves pattern. This quilt has been a part of my personal collection for many years and is perfectly faded and soft, with lots of wear throughout - it is a densely batted quilt, so feels stable. The edges are bound in a cotton leaf print plum-toned fabric, with the front placket and inner collar constructed from a lovely woven pale blue linen.

This style jacket features a straight side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!

This piece shows its age throughout in the form of worn areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history.  Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.

Measurements (taken flat across) - it can be helpful to compare measurements a coat you already own:

Chest (armpit to armpit): 25"

Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 24.5”

Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 18"

Arm length (against the collar to sleeve opening): 28.75"
