The 'Ocean Waves' cropped Chore coat features a 100% cotton quilt that is both hand-pieced and hand quilted. It features many beautiful red and burgundy fabrics set against a contrasting cream background to create a traditional Ocean Waves pattern - my personal favorite. The cropped silhouette gives it a more modern feel, and features handwarmer style pockets which comfortably fit an iPhone, wallet, snacks, and more.
This quilt shows its age in the form of wear through the top layer in places but not all the way through the quilt, discolorations and fading that is consistent with having lived a well-loved life as a quilt before becoming a coat. These are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing it's history which is why I have chosen not to repair these areas; I feel doing so would take away from its history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
Measurements (taken flat across) - I think this is best suited for an XS or S, but could fit outside of that range depending on desired fit- it is best to measure a coat you already own:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 21"
Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 22"
Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 18.5"
Arm length (from top of the shoulder against the collar to sleeve hem): 27"
