These pull on pants feature a high rise, barrel shaped leg for visual appeal and lots of room for movement, an elastic waistband for an easy fit, French Terry inseam side pockets, and are absolutely 100% acceptable to wear both in and out of the house.
This pair features lightweight quilt that is both hand pieced and quilted in a traditional Ocean Waves pattern. Please note that this quilt was made in the 1800s and shows it age - it has age discoloration and wear throughout, with some triangles completely worn through the top layer with batting exposed. These are stunning, cozy pants, and I was able to salvage the best areas of this quilt to create these pants, but they are on the more delicate side. If you are looking for a piece in pristine condition and can be aggressively, these pants are not for you, however - if you are looking to wear these gently and have an appreciation for a textile that is a true work of art and shows it's age, these will not disappoint.
As these are made from an antique quilt that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it shows it's history in the form of some age discolorations, fading and/or fabric wear - PLEASE SEE THE DESCRIPTION ABOVE. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to it's past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
