This Flora Jacket is made from a lightweight quilt that is hand-pieced and quilted in a 'Log Cabin' pattern. The quilting is so lovely, and has given this quilt the most perfect, crinkly texture! The edges are bound in rich navy linen fabric, to allow the fabrics and colors of the quilt to truly be the focus. The inner collar and front plackets are constructed from a white fabric with ditsy dots that perfectly compliment the fabrics utilized throughout.
This style jacket features a rounded side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
