This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from the Ukraine, and features a floral and geometric pattern in a lovely kelly green hue. The outer edge, pockets, front plackets, and inner collar are bound in a deep navy hued cotton/linen blend, and the sleeve openings feature the original blanket's outer edge as it is in good condition (which isn't always the case!). This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 26.5" waist, 37" hips.
