This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from a woman-owned business in Ukraine, and features a cream background with a green and creamsicle-toned geometric floral pattern. The front plackets are a blue and white dot patterned cotton, while the hood is lined in dusty blue/gray linen. The outer edges are bound in a deeo navy linen.
This style jacket features a rounded side hem, bound edges, plackets and self-drafted hood, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a roomy hood - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
