This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from Ukraine, in a stunning, rich fuchsia background with contrast floral and paisley pattern. The front plackets and inner collar are lined in a dusty sage and black print cotton, while the edges, pockets, and sleeves are bound in a leaf print cotton with various jewel-toned blues.
This style jacket features a straight side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. There are a few circular/dot stains as photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27.5" waist, 37.5" hips.
