This Flora Jacket is made from a light to mid-weight quilt that is hand-pieced and quilted in a classic Four Patch pattern. The outer edge, plackets, pockets, and sleeves are bound in my much-loved indigo floral fabric, and the inner collar is lined with the sweetest vintage floral fabric that was used as the backing fabric on another quilt that we couldn't bear see going to waste, so we unpicked the quilted layers to salvage as much as we could to use for future pieces, and here she is! This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
