This cropped coat is made from a mid-weight, densely batted 100% cotton quilt that both hand-pieced and quilted in a Glorified (or sometimes referred to as Modified) Nine Patch pattern. The base fabric is a pink floral with the most joyful and springy vibe, with beautiful contrast blocks in an assortment of blue, cream, pink, indigo, shirting, lavender, and burgundy calico fabrics. The inside of the coat is equally stunning with the sweetest ditsy floral backing fabric. This style jacket features a scooped side hem, dusty blue and cream dot fabric bound edges, inner plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn or slightly discolored areas, small tears and/or repairs - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
