This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from the Ukraine, and features a floral pattern in a warm orange that is reminiscent of the best orange leaves during fall foliage here in Vermont! The outer edge and pockets are bound in a turquoise cotton/linen blend, and the inner collar, sleeve openings, and front plackets feature a beautiful and cozy plaid fabric sent to me by my friends at Toad&Co! This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
