This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from Ukraine, in a beautiful celery green I haven't come across before, and absolutely love it! The front plackets and inner collar are pieced from woven sample fabric from our friends at Toad&Co with a coral red background and multicolor floral print! The bound outer edges are a woven cotton plaid I found yardage of secondhand here in Vermont.
This style jacket features a straight side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
As this garment is made from antique/vintage textiles, It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27.5" waist, 37.5" hips.
