This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket (a lovely camel color with contrast white pattern - it is very soft and lightweight (perfect for those cool nights and breezy days, with a bit of a nubby, fleece-like texture, almost bouclé adjacent, feels soft, and breathable like cotton. This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and rounded patch front pockets. The inner collar is made from cream cotton, the front plackets are made from the last bits of a vintage wool shirting we've absolutely adored working with, and the outer edges are bound in a navy linen.
This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
As this garment is made from antique/vintage textiles, it is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
