This tank features an unfinished quilt TOP that was hand-pieced with an array of indigo fabrics with a pale pink dot patterned sashing fabric between the blocks. It is 100% cotton and has been left unlined to keep it breezy and warmer weather appropriate. This sleeveless top has a scoop neck - either neckline can be worn in the front. It is perfect to wear on its own or layered over a long sleeve as a vest in the cooler months.
This quilt top is very lightweight - in one of the photos I am holding my hand underneath the pink sashing fabric to give you an idea of how much can be seen; the pattern blocks are thicker and use darker color fabrics, so is not particularly revealing in my opinion, but it is something to be aware of. In the modeled photos, I am wearing a skin-toned bralette and navy underwear, and don't find them to be visible. As this piece is made from a vintage/antique quilt top that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it shows its age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to its past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
