This breezy elastic waist skirt features a lovely quilt top in a 'Bear Paw' pattern. It was hand-pieced with an array of indigo fabrics with a pale pink dot patterned sashing between the blocks. The skirt has inseam side pockets, and has been left unlined (please note that the original stitching can be seen on the inside) so as to be more appropriate for warm weather wear. This quilt top is very lightweight - in one of the photos I am holding my hand underneath the pink sashing fabric to give you an idea of how much can be seen; the pattern blocks are thicker and use darker color fabrics, so I don't have any issues with wearing it, but it is something to be aware of. In the modeled photos, I am wearing a skin-toned bralette and navy underwear, and don't find them to be visible. This listing is for the SKIRT ONLY, the top is available in a separate listing.
As this is made from an antique quilt top that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it show its age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics . These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to its past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips.
