The Indigo Pinwheel features a lightweight 100% cotton quilt that is both hand-pieced and hand quilted at 10 stitches per inch. It does contain batting, however it is a very thin layer, making this a lightweight coat with beautiful drape. It features 19th century indigo and pink fabrics in a traditional pinwheel pattern, and a beautiful brown and floral backing fabric that makes for a stunning interior of the coat. The Chore Coat features a straight, boxy silhouette and two handwarmer style front pockets.
This quilt is is overall good condition, with some light age spots (well camouflaged within the fabrics) and signs of wear to the binding/bottom hem. These are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing it's history. I have done my best to capture these areas in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
Measurements (taken flat across) - due to the slightly oversized fit, this can accommodate a range of sizes - it is best to measure a coat you already own:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 22.5"
Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 23.75"
Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 19"
Arm length (against the collar to sleeve opening): 27"
