This Flora Jacket is made from a vintage blanket sourced from Ukraine. The front plackets have been constructed from a portion of a handwoven coverlet, while the inner collar and outer edges are bound in a cotton fabric in red, blue and yellow floral that perfectly compliments the placket and blue of the jacket.
This style jacket features a straight side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit!
It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored areas, and/or mends - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history. There are a few circular/dot stains as photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
For reference, I am 5'7" and my body measurements are: 34.5" bust, 27.5" waist, 37.5" hips.

Length (top of the shoulder to bottom hem): 27”
Sleeve (armpit to sleeve hem): 18.5"
Arm length (against the collar to sleeve opening): 28.5"
