The 'Wild Goose Chase' Liner Jacket features a lightweight 100% cotton quilt that is both hand-pieced and quilted. This style features a curved front hem, slim arms, cream colored elastic bound body and sleeve cuffs, inseam side pockets, and a zip front.
I am listing this as a SAMPLE as it was the first coat made in the newly released liner style. Everything about the fit is perfect and exactly what I was aiming for, however I discovered that inseam side pockets are a bit awkward to get your hands into in this slimmer style, particularly when zipped. They are still of course fully functional and this might not bother you, but wanted to share for transparency.
Please note that this quilt is very well loved and shows much of the history and life that it has lived. I have made some repairs, but left other areas as-is so as not to distract from the beauty of the quilt itself. If you are looking for a pristine quilt, this is not the one for you, however if you love the quilts with lots of history and are prepared to treat this with the love and care it deserves in it's new form to extend it's life, this one will certainly not disappoint. I was originally intending to keep this gal for myself, but decided to offer her up in case you'd like to give her a home!
As this is a vintage quilt, it is possible it shows it age in the form of wear and/or discolorations - this quilt in particular is in very well-loved condition. I have done my best to capture any areas of note in the photos, but is possible that not all are photographed. Please review all images as returns are not accepted - no exceptions.
