This breezy elastic waist skirt features a truly stunning quilt top in a 'Joy Bells' pattern. It was meticulously hand-pieced with an array of indigo, calico, shirting, chambray, and paisley fabrics. The skirt has inseam side pockets, and has been left unlined (please note that the original stitching can be seen on the inside) and find it to be more appropriate for warm weather wear.
As this is made from an antique quilt top that has lived a full life before becoming a piece of wearable art, it is possible it show it's age in the form of some discolorations and wear to some of the fabrics. These areas are viewed not as defects, but merely giving it character and a nod to it's past life. Please review the photos as returns are not accepted.
